Bleeding Hearts in Kimono Fabric. Ornaments. by hanatsukuri Bleeding Hearts in Kimono Fabric. Ornaments. by hanatsukuri
When arielyiningloh asked me to contribute for :icontzartisans: this was one of my designs particularly for this purpose. There's a lot of contributors for the eventual publication, but if you'd like to support my instructions on how to make these flowers, and other tutorials, please visit the StoreEnvy: Storenvy Icon  tzartisan.storenvy.com/ Storenvy Icon  where you can find a lot of goods for sale to support the publication!

For a silk, hand dyed version: Etsy bullet  www.etsy.com/listing/150510576… (my etsy) Etsy Icon

You probably know that I like to make unusual flowers, especially ones from real flora. So that's one of the contributions I made.

So, this was made using three different shades of kimono fabric, so it's a lovely combination that makes a plush 3D flower-- it's pretty and really distinctive art.

Thoughts?

Oh girl! You're a marvel. A comb with this design or a hair pin would look lovely though quite modern. Commission as soon as you've the time?

I'll make time for you my dear! :huggle: if it's for Xmas the cut-off date for U.S. delivery is Dec. 20th for first class, and 21st for priority mail.

Agreed, it'd look very pretty on a comb or a hair pin. Do you have a preference?

I was thinking of a new New Year's piece.
Preference would be the comb.

Do you prefer this style, which is in kimono fabric: Bleeding Hearts in Kimono Fabric. Ornaments. by hanatsukuri

Or in silk: Bleeding Hearts: Red and White Kanzashi by hanatsukuri  ?
