This one...is possibly my favorite of the "lolita collection." It manages to be ornate-- but simple. It has five layers! How can I not like it?? ^^

Each petal is made of a single piece of silk...so there are four layers nestled gently into each other, with the fifth layer resting on top. :heart: I adore this one. :heart: (but, yes, 40 squares were folded in this piece.)

...and doesn't the pearl look nice there??? :love:

Anyways, this little one was designed with "elegant gothic lolita" in mind. It's part of my "lolita collection"...which has dwindled in only two days. Wow. :bow: these were designed, also, for my friends...who requested black kanzashi. I thought it was a good idea, and merely went along.

So, yes, these are tsumami * kanzashi (pinched * ornate hair pin), made out of silk, starch, glue, and patience.

the way the petals are arranged is a very subtle pin wheel effect, my eyes travel all over this flower.

This is probably my favorite of the darker ones. xD But it's beautiful. And the pearl is looks very cute there!

It's very pretty. :) I love black and white, they compliment each other so well. :D It's very nice to look at. My sister loves this one too.
