How come you call it "kiss"??

Great sakura. How do you get the folds so crisp? Or do you glue them? Really cute with the mini-sakura hanging.

Why I called it "light kiss" the first time...'cause the dye is lightly "kissing" the fabric? *Made that up*

...:giggle: I dunno. Artistic license? My poetic twin actually names everything-- and I just stick with the name when I make derivative designs.

What an amusing question~ :tighthug: 'cause I dunno the answer~

Folds crisp = starch? Practice? I have gotten this comment many times before. Often from other kanzashi makers...maybe it's a little of both...

^_^ glad you like the minis! :D I think they're so fun~ some of them are tiny-- 1.5cm to 2cm in diameter, each one. :D

My starch is crappy >> I should find the heavy duty ultra tough manly starch.

Iyai, that's small XD

Gosh,I envy you! lol

What do you use to clap on to the hair? ( do you use combs, clips, or traditional forks? ) And can you take a picture of it? I'm trying to see how to do it correctly.

I'm glad you like this piece!

For custom orders, I use whatever the customer asks for. (Hair stick, comb, prong, clip, barrette, bobby pin etc) You can see hundreds of examples on my etsy shop-- I don't upload them here. :) [link] <--etsy

Damn Those are some nice pieces.

I have a question, do you use the taditional glue?

I use different glues for different pieces. But no, I don't use rice glue. I prefer fabric glue.

The trailing flowers are so pretty. I really like your hand dyed silk, it makes the petals look even more delicate.

Well, I'm a kanzashi enthusiast. XD They're all handmade so they can never look exactly same as one another. Which what draw me to them in the first place.
