Look to the sky. Cranes.

And~ I made a whole bunch of cranes. ♥ Enjoy looking at them! These are cranes 4 and 2. my dancing cranes~

These have hand sculpted paper clay heads finished with gesso modeling paste, and paint. I did the sculpting myself while imagining the sweet birds...
The wings are made of silk "petals" (feathers) which were individually folded. This technique is called "tsumami zaiku" 摘み細工
