Chirimen seems playful to me, with their little flower pattens on my flowers...so cute. :love:

Chirimen has been called "patchwork" fabric, or "kimono fabric." This particular brand is made of rayon...I have a post on chirimen on my livejournal: [link]

Anyways~ these two colors were sent to me by Joan~ beautiful. So I made these for her...the blue one with extra long tales, and the red one mixed with some of my chirimen stash. :heart:

Summer Stash: #33 and 34.

There are a few more chirimen ones to come, this summer...

Hmm, I like the fabric too...matching it was the fun part. The chirimen itself is, uh, beautiful because it's chirimen. ^_^

Chirimen does have a fun texture, doesn't it? ^_^

You could do a simple flower? And mix it with different color falls? It'd be fun! We need to see more chirimen here on dA...there really isn't much work being done with it...
