The Bridal Party in Lotuses. Teal and Purple. by hanatsukuri The Bridal Party in Lotuses. Teal and Purple. by hanatsukuri
So, the ladies have purple dresses-- but borrow a color from the men (Teal) for their hair things.

The men are wearing teal vests, but borrow the ladies' color for the boutonniere.

...and silver is the unifying, underlying theme. Beautifully coordinated. What a clever bride my friend :iconinuyatta: is. This is an excellent way to bring the color scheme together, don't you think? And it's also easier for the artist (me. Hehe.) to not have to match the dresses exactly, which is good, because I'm sort of living across the Pacific from her...

Best of luck to you my friend. I'm sure the Big Day will be chaotic, memorable fun. Take pictures. :D

The two of these side-by-side is lovely and wonderful! I really like how the boutonniere's leaves are a light teal! And the color combo is so nice~~~~

Yup, the colors look nice together! The girls have purple dresses and teal hair pins (I think), and the boys have teal vests and purple boutonnieres. *looking forward to seeing the party wearing them...*

Your combined efforts are so richly appreciated, dears. The color scheme was decided when I realized how much your edge-scaling really catches the eye, and how popular my red and gold scale lotus was received.  I knew you could make it all come together perfectly, and you guys did. <3

:huggle: I always love making designs for you. This was a challenge, though, there being so many. To think, years ago, I thought of making a bouquet of flowers, but....that I think would just take waaaaaay too long.

Oh, I didn't realize that one was so popular! I like it myself-- red and gold do look sooo nice together.

^o^ Lemme know if you get inspired by anything else, m'dear. I will gladly make you something.

Yeah, I think a bouquet might have worn both sets of hands to bloody stumps.

Red/gold, Green/silver, etc. Really, anything goes good with gold and silver. The metallic paint just makes it work.

Sewing Emote These were fun to design, really. I don't get asked to do boutonnieres that often. So thinking about it and sewing all the finished parts together is kind of interesting. ^_^ Though it takes forever. :XD:

Thank you my dear for the lovely comment.
