Violet, Pink and baby yellow kanzashi. Masquerade

This is a handmade hair ornament that I made out of silk chirimen-- the patterned fabric was something I bought in Japan, and the solid petals are hand-dyed to match.

This is a handmade hair ornament. I folded each petal individually, and arranged it into this flower design.

When looking at this one, I see a beautiful moon in the summer's night...or, as some of you have kindly suggested, a "Summer's Moon Masquerade!"
