Winter Wonder. chiffon snowflake tsumami kanzashi

 So, in the early fall I did a custom order for a lovely customer. She has a lot of cool requests-- this one was for a snowflake tiara. We wanted to keep the design winter-ish, so she requested a chiffon fabric. I chose this semi-transparent chiffon silk, and though you can't tell as much after it's been folded (♥ tsumami techniques...), it's ethereal and almost transparent in places.  

I haven't done snowflakes in a while, and jumped at the chance to do a more complex one. 切片より雪花ですけれど・・・ I like the look though.

To wear, it's actually rather flexible-- we did two combs connected with wire (which she adjusted herself to get the perfect fit to her outfit) for a half-crown... I also think it looks cute on the back of a bun. Model picture coming....
