Golden leaves. ♥

these are all original hair art leaves...Each leaf is a composite fiber art sculpture...the leaf is made out of 5-7 pieces of hand dyed silk before folded and arranged into this style.

I love your designs with golden leaves - they always seem warm and nice and soft-looking, never too bright or sharp-looking.

The colors/shades of this piece and the textures actually (to me) seem to contrast each other, but in a very cute, subtle way.

Fall seems to be quite far away in the middle of the summer...

IT DOES seem so far off, but you know? I just love leaves!

I have a few more maple leaf bobby pins that I will be uploading eventually...ahahah...still running behind...

Oh, I agree; the textures do subtly differ, and the contrast is indeed cute.

I think it's a great design for making use of texture.
